Data Deletion Instructions
You can request deletion of personal information associated with your WhatStore account, store, order activity, WhatsApp messages, or waitlist subscription.
How to request deletion
- Email support@whatstore.ng with the subject line: Data deletion request.
- Include the email address used for your WhatStore account, or the WhatsApp phone number you used to message a WhatStore store.
- If your request relates to a store, include the store name or store URL. If it relates to an order, include the order ID if you have it.
- We will review the request and delete or anonymize information we can remove from active systems, subject to records we need to keep for orders, payment holds, payouts, disputes, security, tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
Information covered by a request
- Account profile, authentication, session, verification, two-factor, address, and contact information.
- Store, product, category, branding, membership, notification preference, and uploaded media records.
- Cart, checkout, order, delivery, payment hold, wallet, withdrawal, and dispute records.
- WhatsApp conversation phone numbers, message content, provider message identifiers, AI usage, and product view records.
- Waitlist, email broadcast, and push notification subscription records.
Waitlist unsubscribe
Waitlist subscribers can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in waitlist emails. You can still email support@whatstore.ng to request deletion of waitlist records associated with your email address.
